Sky player buffering when using a router

Hello

I'm with virgin media on a ten meg connection

I can't get the player to stop buffering even on low.

When I plug the pc direct tithe first vm box it plays no problem and connects upto 2.9mb and looks mint

but when I plug back in my dlink dir 615 it won't even play on low(LAN connection)

I've tried dlink firmware and ddwrt which I'm on now but no luck. Changed settings but makes no difference either.

So it's a problem with the 615 but any suggestions what to adjust, ? I don't mind buying a new one as lon as it going to work

it's probably the router mate, I had a similar problem with a tp link router, i bought a new router, problem solved

yer i prob will edn up but is strange how skyplayer is the only thing with the problem,,other streaming is fine, xbox live is fine etc
