Set a date for Sky Player!
It's been a few months since Xbox and Sky announced that Sky Player would launch on Xbox. We're now delighted to confirm that the service - which will give Xbox 360 owners the opportunity to watch live and on-demand sport, movies, entertainment, drama, documentaries and the arts, directly through their broadband connected console - will launch on 27th October 2009.
Whether your subscribing to Sky for the first time, or looking to extend you existing Sky subscription into another room, your Xbox 360 will enable you not only to access live and on-demand TV, but also to chat to your Windows Live buddies when they're watching the same show as you, helping you to play, watch and connect. The full channel line-up and pricing will be confirmed at launch on the 27th
