So, when it launched you needed

1) Sky sub (duh)
2) Either a) Up to 20mb Internet service from Sky or b) Additional subscription.

So i was quite shocked to try it anyway and find that i am able to access all the channels i can with the browser based sky player, when did this change?

Really helpful :) means i can skulk off to watch the cricket without annoying the girlfriend and 'stealing' the main TV set \o/

So do you have any packages and or broadband with Sky?

If you are able to watch Sky Player on the PC (i.e. you have the required subscriptions), then you can watch it on the Xbox for no charge. Its always been that way.

I've always had the full sub package (Well, minus movies..) but when trying to watch live TV when it launched i was directed via a message to a page informing me that live TV requires an additional subscription or a Sky BB package.

Now it just runs.
