Hey guys,

just got a question regarding sky player. Lately i have been watching it on my xbox more and more and for some reason whenever i try watch things like the simpsons at 3pm it says "sorry this channel is not available for sky player" but i was able to watch Glen Martins DDS at around 7:30pm. Any idea to why this is?
I also get cut off live channels at around midnight.

Thanks

Could be to do with copyright or something. I get that sometimes on ESPN when trying to watch something. Only happens the odd time, but I too would like to know the exact reason why it happens.

Yeah it is licensing, They don't have permission to show those shows on Sky Player.

Ones I have noticed so far are Simpsons & WWE, It happens all the time :)

Only the on demand service is free if you have the relevant subscription. The live view requires various other commitments to watch... Although Sports is free till the end of the year at present.

shut up eyyaz its a free service if your a sky tv subscriber

Bit strong?

It is actually only for customers with Sky Multiroom or Sky Broadband Unlimited if you really want to get pedantic. Or if you buy the voucher things for Xbox Sky Player.

But until the end of the year they are allowing Sports free. BlizzardX is correct in what he says if you are subscriber to normal stuffs then you only get the on demand not the Live TV!

If you're an existing Sky TV customer you can watch a selection of on demand programmes from the channels you subscribe to for free. Customers with Sky Multiroom or Sky Broadband Unlimited can also watch live TV channels.

If you don't have Multiroom or Broadband Unlimited you can simply subscribe to Sky Player Multiroom to watch live TV channels with Sky Player.

So I think you should be quiet.
