Sky Player

I have just done a fresh install of windows 7 and firefox 4. I have sky web player which keeps freezing, the error i get in event viewer..Unused media renderer were not removed from the list of devices because required DRM components cannot run while a debugger from the machine or the WMPNetworksvc service

My pc just freezes, Any help please

Sky player is a really tricky piece of software. I had problems getting it going.

Make sure you enable firefox to retain cookies/ history, and make sure to install silverlight and don't delete the history of silverlight either as this will eventually lock your computer out of your account. As sky player will think your logging in from multiple computers.

Sky Player and Silverlight have so far proven a right pita. The above post is what you have to do though.

Just an update to the problem which is now solved

I had to go into misconfig and boot option then advanced options and untick the debug then save and restart and bam my sky player is back

Nasty piece of software, that Sky player. I went through a phase where it thought my PC was different every time I booted up :/
