Was helping a neighbour set up a new TV with Sky Q.
There is a soundbar connected to the TV via optical audio as well.
With the old TV, they used the Sky Q remote for volume etc, which controlled the soundbar output.
It also displayed the sound level on the TV as it changed.
With the new TV, the control still works for volume of the soundbar but the level does not appear on the TV any more, it just shows a no entry symbol.
We went through the Sky Q controller setup to choose the TV but the model is not listed, which I suspect is the issue.
Any workarounds, or ways to add newer TV models to the Sky Q controller?
It’s a silly little problem really, but they do use the volume numbers when setting the volume.
