Sky Q, ever support plex?

I doubt it. There have been suggestions internally about Netflix and Amazon Prime Apps and those have been dismissed so I doubt Plex, which we all know what the main reasons for using it are, will ever be an option.
 
Sky want you to purchase and view all your content through them (sky store, now tv box office etc) so I doubt they would ever have a competitor on their service. Its a shame but you can understand why not.
 
Plex/Kodi are not afaik available on competitor boxes bt/virgin, and would think there would be significant hw/sw cost to ensure that on such an open system, drm was protected on the sky/bt/virgin media.
Consumers see netflix uhd now available on Bt (humax) box, so I would think sky cannot ignore that for long.
(presumably sky have negligible penetration on USA market where netflix is 'popular' using 40% network bandwidth @peak hours)
