People, probably has been answered before but i couldnt see a solution for this issue at the mo.

Sky q is connected to virgin router hard wired in the loft

BT mesh system throughout the house with different wifi ssid and pass than virgin router

Mini box 1 and 2 on ground floor are both saying connection to q box is good but not to network

1 BT mesh is next to 1 mini box, can i not go to each q mini and force them to find or see the bt mesh ssid?

Help plz

The mini boxes will attempt to connect to the Q box and setup their own private network. Best thing generally is switch it all off and start with the main Q box then do the next closest mini box.

i mean theroretically there are 2 internets SSIDs available and the main q is connected to the virgin through a wire but only issue like with 1 q mini as it is all the way on the ground floor and the nearest internet is not the virgin but the BT hubs. but then again it doesnt matter what internet is close by right? as they connect to each other through their own internal net?

We had a similar issue with our sky mini boxes constantly losing connection to our main sky q box. It turns out for some reason sky boxes don’t play nicely with the virgin super hubs. When an angineer visited us had to set up a sky AP broadcasting a separate SSID specifically for the sky boxes to use. Have had no issues since.
