Sky Router Unlocking

Apologies, but I've searched and can't seem to find the link. Could someone please point me towards the instructions for unlocking then flashing an ex-Sky Netgear DG834GT (looking to use it on an o2 ADSL2 connection), I'm sure I saw it on here somewhere but I've gone boss eyed looking for it. Thanks in anticipation. :)
 
It's very easy to do. Takes 5 minutes..I did it on my old Netgear and the results were very good at the start but then the router went dippy, kept dropping connections, websites taking ages etc. In the end end Sky sent me a new router (not knowing I'd flashed it obviously) not sure if it's worth flashing this one, even so again it's performing crap again :(

It's fine on Xbox Live etc, but loading websites, downloading and dropping connections is annoying me.

yep thats a good guide.
id just add that if your network adaptor is not detected by the firmware recovery utility, use a different computer preferably with another chipset (it doesnt play nicely with some nvidia chipsets in particular).

also have a look at the UberGT or DGTeam custom firmwares to unlock extra features, good router and great on be/02, it should make your connection more stable and gain you a bit of extra speed.
 
Quick update.

Picked up an ex-Sky DG834GT from the 'bay for the princely sum of £15 all in. Using the link posted by J.B ( tks matey ;) ) I flashed over the Sky firmware (to Netgears v 1.02.14) and now have an excellent little router for my o2 BB.

Well chuffed.
