Sky Signal Blocked

Right,

Next door are having a loft conversion and their scaffolding is now blocking our dish. The builder has said he's got a mate who can repoint the dish for the 8 weeks; but is this really possible?

I though Sky only broadcast on 28.2 and 28.5 degrees E so how can he repoint it elsewhere?

He probably means bolt it to the outside of the scaff, i've seen this a lot, driving past houses with building going on.

That would make sense, though it probably means tacking our dish to the top of their scaffold cap. Crazy.

Well your options are leave it be and have no Sky (and effectively waste 2 months subscription) or get them to move it, there isn't a lot to go wrong, just make sure when they put it back it works before they leave!

Hopefully that's the plan. Main contractor seems like a good lad and the neighbours will make it right.
