Sky TV bluescreen

Apologies if this isn't the right place but seemed most fitting to my issue.

I was watching tv earlier on Sky, Discovery all well and good. Turned the tv and box off and came back later to watch a film.

I have a constant blue screen showing now. Turning off the tv and box and turning back on has not solved it. I don't think I've pushed a random button accidentaly that would cause this.

Any ideas?

I can reset it but not sure if that's going to complicant things with setting it up again or would a reset just be like on a PC to restart it..?

I'm clueless about these sorry I just watch it.

Do you get any messages at all? Any Sky TV fault screen always has a message so if it's completely blue it sound like the TV may be on the wrong source/input.

No, when I select a channel it shows at the bottom as normal, but apart from that is a pure blue screen. No error messages are visible and no cables have been touched.

I'm thinking it is an output issue most likely.

So cut the power to the box completely?
