Hi All

My Sky is up for renewal and was wondering if anyone had gotten any good deals out of them lately.
Not sure what to hold out for really.
Currently have a 35% off deal on my acc and pay £49 a month for the full sky tv but my bt internet has now lappsed from contract and is £44 for line rental unlimited calls and unlimited broadband.

Sky have offered my unlimited broadband and evening calls and line rental and my full tv package for £66 for 10 months (the broadband for a year).
Shall i hold out for better and go through retentions?
I have told them to cancel but will see what and if they offer anything else.
They where offering the complete TV bundle 2 weeks ago to new customers for £25.

They are also offering a free 32" Samsung TV or Sonos Play 1 speaker at the moment for new customers.

Any tips will be appreciated.
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Thanks

I have been with them for 8 years for TV and even asked about moving all my phone , tv and internet services to them and they offered £66.
I must have the original HD box still as i had to get a connector box for on demand lol.
New customers can even get the 2tb box for free or a free 2nd box when theytake multi room whereas i was quoted £199 for it.
I have seen in another thread that somone got the same package as what i was quoted but for £49 so i think i will hold out.
I dont mind paying for what i think is a fair price.
Just had the same problem with Amazon Prime now £59 for new customers after i have renewed last month at £79.
I asked if they would match it or could i cancel the service and get a refund and pay for what i have used since the renewal.
Got an email today saying they had cancelled Prime but no mention of any of the cost or refund etc so emailed them back complaining about the lack of information that i requested in the 1st place and they said a full refund had been issued for the £79 and apologised and sent me the link to renew at £59

I just phone to check my cancelation was going through as its due to end 10th August and the lady offered me the same deal as above but without any calls for £55 or £59 with evening and weekends which would be ok as I don't use landline really just my wife when she calls her family lol.
She said she couldn't do anything about my sky box until the contract is up. Id want a new box as mine is 4 years old now and has the on demand box :)

Just checked my account and there is a 50% offer there on tv package but no mention of line rental calls and Internet which I was looking to move over.is it worth calling them or will that be the best they offer at 50% off tv .just don't want to waste my time lol

Cheers

My ping has always been under 50 for the last 10 years on aol or bt .im only about 650m from the exchange so it shouldn't be to bad

Well they offered me 50% off my tv package to £43 an line rental ,calls (evening and weekend) and broadband for £21.99 so £65 in total for everything.
Do you think this is a good deal or hold out for better.
The only thing i would miss would be Sky Atlantic for Arrow and Flash and the Sports for LFC games and the F1 although i could watch BBC or go pub for the sport :)
Just had BT email me saying that the cost of BT Sport is going up as im out of my free sport contract so charging me £6.95 and it will be £11.75 from August 1st because of extra channel for Champions League and Europa League.
Decisions decisions lol

Well thats what i would want as well a new box.Im not even fussed about the 2 tb box.
Mine is hd but must be 4 years old and i have to have a seperate box for ondemand.i went from the old grey sky+ box.
It does go a bit funny from time to time especially when it ran out of warranty and i got my Sky Protect letters every week for 3 months lol

@ L1ght its defo worth looking into for them .Im debating wether to settle at £65 for everything.
My sky is now £52.50 for All the Channels in HD .My line rental ,calls and internet are with BT and im now out of my term with them so paying £45 for that but that will increase now toat least £51 with the BT sport thing and even more if i get the extra channel lol.
Next month it would cost me £103.50..........
Thats far to much. £65 for all sky and phone and internet services and then an extra £11.95 if i want the BT channels is seemng a bit better at £77 but when you hear of people getting the Sky for sub £50 with multiroom as well etc it makes me wonder what to do.

Well i cancelled my Sky as it had gone up to £59 and my BT had gone up to £55 due to the new channnels etc.
Had a few offers along the way but the day after i left i got an offer of 60% off the complete TV package at £30.30 .
Moved my line rental calls and broadband over and got multiroom and 2 new boxes. So i am now paying £55 for everything including the HD and Multiroom and got £100 credit on my account so almost 2 months free.
Im quite happy with this.Could possibly have haggled for a bit more off but had to keep the wife happy :)
So i am around £60 a month better off now and have 2 months free sky + multiroom.

On sky go extra that you get with multiroom can you download programmes and watch them from your ipad in another country (when on holiday) or is there some sort of region lock on them?

I have all sky services including HD sky fibre pro + £130 cash back

I am paying £57 per month :D

12 month contract

Nice one mate.
They offered my fibre unlimited for £10 but i only live 500m away from the exchange so get 18mb usually on standars broadband which is fine for online gaming and watching on demand content for me
