evening folks, I've had a new sky box installed two days ago as the old one failed. but the new box no longer has the rf out port on the back which we were using via coax cable through a booster to watch sky in the bedrooms is there any way now of still utilising the coax that runs through the house maybe using the scart port or something to get the the signal to the tv's or is this the end of this sort of thing now?

You need an IO Link from the bay of E, the rainforest or accessories.sky.com. They can only power a single TV though. More than that you'll need an amplifier.

Find it hilarious that Sky removed this feature, yet still have the nerve to charge extra for HD channels.

So glad, I don't subscribe to their rip-offtastic TV cack anymore!

if you get the triax ones you can modulate freeview down same cable as the RF2 signal well they are the ones i use anyway very good.

so i bought a triax one tried it tonight in the io port and the coax that used to run into the back of the sky box is now in rf1 out on the triax box but i am still not getting any picture upstairs thought this would be a plug and play jobbie is there anything else i need to be doing. there is a 9v port aswell but i just assume that is for the use with rf2 out for the magic eye and such.
