Thousands of Sky HD customers including me have had there sky boxes messed up tonight with a corrupted update.
When trying to browse anytime TV the box resets, this is not your box its the update from SKY!
A full reset is the only way to solve this until sky release a fix ive lost all of my recordings on one box and of course anytime is reset and needs to redownload now.Ive done a full reset on one of my boxes which has delted all of my recordings and reset anytime tv to redownload,im wating for the fix for my other box and just cant access anytime tv downstairs now until its fixed.
After reading the forum Digital spy, people have spoken to sky tonight and the only way to fix this is to do a full system reset and disable anytime TV for the time being or wait for a fix from sky.
Apparently rebuilding the planner will not fix this
Here is one thread im sure there are many more on other forums:
http://www.digitalspy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1354039
Update: Even after reseting my box which of course deletes anytime TV and the planner the problem is still not solved,it looks like when anytime tv is deleted and redownloads once its accessed again the box still freezes so it looks like the only fix is for SKY to release a patch that actually works this time
So guys just disable Anytime TV for the time being and all will be ok with your box until SKY sort this
DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE AND DO A FULL RESET AND LOSE ALL YOUR RECORDINGS WHEN ANYTIME REDOWNLOADS YOU WILL STILL HAVE THE SAME ISSUE
