Pricing this up , can you get the box + freeview channels with no monthly payment ? or do you need to pay £10 for it ?, Is there any freeview boxes with hd's which are as good ?

Do you have Sky already? I'm Guessing you dont.

If you have Sky+ installed you will have to pay £10 a month for the PVR functionality.

Yep unless you have the full package I think or it may be just sports or movies, you have to pay the £10 a month. If you have the full package like I do it's free.

I've got a freeview hdd box (Humax 9200) and can't fault it yet

I got a phillips freeview box - without hdd - and its ***** awful, slow to respond, sometimes doesnt respond at all and it was £50 or so
Will look out for humax model after i move
