I tried to install skybybroadband, but it says i need windows media player 10, i have it, and WMP 11, but its not detecting it, any help?

If you have WMP11, I don't think you have WMP10 anymore. The program could really be daft enough that it now won't let you use it.

Err, Is there a version of WMP10 for Vista? it seems to only be available to XP.

I had summut similar with IE7 and a page that said I needed IE5.5 or above to view it!...

Its M$ making thair new progs (albeit Betas) not backward compatable with older versions!..

Just to warn you that when you install SkyByBroadband it's installs a service in the background that uses your pc as part of a P2P network. It's constantly running as well.

It's called "Kservice".

I hardly use SkyByBroadband so I have ZoneAlarm block anything to do with it, then just unblock when I want to use it.

Yup its definately not good if your under an FUP as you'll go way over the usage limit in peak times as its constantly running as said.

thats a bit unfair of them, whats the use of this "Kservice" for Sky doing.

It could easily be blocked at router level though.

Probably a good thing it wont install, the K service crippled my connection and It was tricky to remove. Uninstalling SkyByBB doesnt remove KService!
