Just wondering if I bought a skyeye would I be able to control the living room sky box in the kitchen?

Current set up:

Sky+ HD box in living room. Feeds the entire house, cable goes to loft from Sky+ HD box and into a labtec and tv link t180 signal booster splitter thing which then feeds the tv signal to every aerial socket in the house.

I use the Magic eye for the spare room. It must be connected to RF2 (And only RF2 as it passes a voltage down the line to the magic eye) and you can control the sky be pointing at the eye.

Your T180 is compatible with Sky Eyes. You'll need to check the spec on the Labtec amp though.

Oh, you'll have to switch on the Sky Eye feature in the Sky box menus too

Just a heads up, You will lose an audio channel and go from Stereo to Mono audio if you fit a magic eye.
(The secondary RF signal that is, not the main TV.)

Cheers guys, I've ordered one. Was like £4 off the bay so no harm if it dosent work, but it sounds like it will from what've you said.
