Hi all, I do have an old account somewhere here but I have lost my login details! Not that it matters I suppose. Anyway, could a few of you be so kind to take a look at the following build and let me know what you think. Planning on ordering in a few weeks.

Brief background: The first PC I put together had a Q6600 (G0 stepping thank you very much, spent most of its life at 3.4 or 3.6) and 8800GTX. This has had multiple upgrades over the years: a new PSU, extra HDDs more RAM and two new graphics cards. A few months ago my latest GPU died and whilst everything else still works I think it is time to retire my Q6600.

I'm aiming to get 1080 at well over 60 fps and sometimes game in 3D, I plan to get a 1440 (4K may not be affordable any time soon) possibly ultrawide monitor eventually.
My budget is around £1000, actually a bit less but I am hoping for some good deals in a few weeks (black Friday etc.) and will be keeping an eye on the this week only page.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,080.98
(includes shipping: £14.10)

Is 2x4 GB RAM okay or go for 1x8 GB short term? Same price but allows a higher total in the future.
Thoughts about the PSU, I have a Blu-Ray player and several HDDs already I plan to re-use and will OC at some point. Will 650W be okay?
I am hoping this set up will be quite quiet mainly when watching films/TV.
Have I missed anything or not considered something I should have?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the link. I thought it'd be okay but it is nice to have a fresh set of eyes take a look too!

If the upgrade pattern of my old machine is predictive of how it will go in the future I probably won't be getting a second card any time soon. By the time I would I may jump up beyond what a second 390x could offer anyway.
