Get a quad channel kit you like the look of. No real world benefit in paying for tighter/lower timings. Also be careful of RAM with tall heat-sinks if you're going air cooled
 
In ASUS Z170 at the exact same timings etc 4 sticks are faster as they use T topology. SO go 4 the 4 sticks of which ever you want. All should work fine.
 
Must have changed some stuff under the hood of t topology - used to be that it just equalised trace lengths to help avoid the added delay/instability from having 4 sticks but didn't make it faster than 2 in dual-channel. I'm going to go find me some bedtime reading to find out why, thanks 8pack :D

Edit: Bah, failing to find added info. Anyhow, good to know, I'll keep trying to find out if there were further changes or if better performance is a result of this change alone.
