Skylake water block

I need a water block for the Asus Hero !
is it worth getting a mono block seeing as skylake is so cool running or just stick with a cpu block ?

The CPU cooling should be roughly the same with both blocks.

What you gain with the monoblock is cooling the motherboard parts VRMs and stuff. This is only really necessary for extreme overclocking but you might still want that. Personally I'd get the CPU only block cause it looks better and is a little cheaper.

I have to admit that I would be very tempted by the monoblock as it would enable me to get rid of at least the rear exhaust fan and maybe the top one as well. The downside is that unlike the cpu block you cannot reuse it as it only fits a single board. Temps should be similar on both though as the monoblock has similar insides over the cpu as the cpu block.
