Skylanders: Spyro's Adventures

Got this for my wife as she likes the simple games. She loves it.
My son wasnt interested in it, but as soon as he seen the figures on the portal he wanted to play it too.
 
Little bump on this,

Just picked up this game on a deal (see consoles deal thread) Wondered the best place to get the figures cheap? Just wanted to get one of each eliment so I can access all content?

Unless anyone has some figures they want rid of?
 
Very sorry to bump this. Im weighing up between getting the wife a 3DS XL with Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask or Skylanders Wii.

One of you guys mentioned "battle mode" - Im guessing this means you get to fight each others characters but you dont get to complete levels together?
 
Yeah there is no 2 player adventure. My son has just recieved some giant skylanders for his birthday. God knows how much money has been spent on all the different skylanders now but it's definitely been played a lot.
 
We started off with a small Skylanders collection (3), we now have 14!

We'll also be getting Giants at Christmas so even more will be added. The kids love it though.
