Skype on Iphone

no matter what I do I can't properly log out of Skype on my phone, only thing that works is to switch off wireless and cellular data

also the messages appear at random times, hours after they've been sent sometimes

any ideas ?

think i might just have to delete the app - when the messages appear and I go to the app I need to type in my name/pass to log in (as if i'm not logged in at all).

I log in with a microsoft account - wondering if that might be related ?

What do you mean you can't log out? You mean you're showing to your friends as signed in after you've hit the sign-out button, not just closing the app?
