Everytime I receive a message or startup/exit Skype I get this loud sound spike and it's really annoying, and not sure if it would be damaging my speakers.
I'm not sure what's causing it. I've tried a quick google but haven't found anything.
Skype has been updated to the latest version but it still does it.
Using the Xonar DX and the latest drivers. Before I updated it, it still spiked.
And using W7 64-bit.
Any help's appreciated
Edit: I went to settings > sounds, and when I click on Play this sound, it happens to all of them. I don't hear what it should be, just get a sound spike.
