Skype + Windows 7 - Skype won't run, just closes.

Skype won't seem to run - Win 7 keeps saying it has a problem and closes skype. Is this just me or an update problem? Win 7 is fully up to date.
 
Found another site (Skype forum) that said uninstall it, download a previous version (4.2.0.187) and install that PLUS remove autoupdate feature! Have done so and it installs / runs.
