skyrim alt tabs itself

as the title indicates skyrim randomly alt tabs itself to desktop. i am able to go back into game but its annoying having constant interruptions.

its only been doing it since Ive reinstalled it.

i have a few mods installed. wont list them but if anyone knows of any mods that do this, please let me know.

also worth noting the same happens with new Vegas. that is uninstalled now due to constant CTDs. that had one mod installed, which with NMC's texture pack.

do you think the alt tabs could be related to nexus mod manager? they both have that in common.

If it's happening in other games too then that would point to an infection of some kind, I'd suggest that you at least run a full scan with malwarebytes and your anti-virus of choice before blaming the game.

soz should have mentioned it only happens in those games. only played 30 mins of Vegas and it alt tabed once or twice.

other games are fine, BC2, deus ex....

well with skyrim you could just uninstall the mods and then try installing them 1 by 1 through skyrim workshop, 1 click to install and 1 click to uninstall

yes its the mods i had that too, than kgo for Skyrim mod manager.

Using Xfire can cause Skyrim and Fallout games to minimise while playing. If you do use Xfire then disable Xfire in game through the options.
