NGOHQ.com has created a video demonstrating the differences between The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's original textures and the official high resolution texture pack that was released about a week ago. Does the pacl automatically work? I got the patch through steam and played it but could see no option to turn it on. I think the game looked a bit better but I hadn't played it for a couple of weeks so wasn't sure if I was just imagining it.

Yeah it's "on" by default, you can see it under loaded mods.

Groovy thanks. As I said I wasn't sure if I was just thinking it looked better due to the gap betweens plays.

Skyrim HD and individual mods are much better

I expect it would look better in game than what the video can offer, but I tend to agree, there isn't that much difference in most instances.
