Hey, I initially bought Skyrim on Xbox 360 when it came out but now that I have a decent PC I thought it would be nice to get it on PC and mod it. The problem is, I've already put in a tonne of hours on the Xbox version so i'm a little bored of many of the quests.

My question is: do you think I will be able to get enough game-changing mods to keep myself interested in it? If so, can you recommend any?
I'm looking for extra quests mainly but don't really know of any good mods and also wanted to know if my computer can run the high res texture mods

Specs:
i5 3570k CPU
AMD PowerColor HD7850 GPU
8GB RAM

Yes, can't even remember the last time I did anything related to the main game, all DLC and mods, as for specs your good to go, you'll max it on 1080p with some nice 2x rez textures. There is enough gameplay mods available that you'll pretty much be able to play through even the main quest again simply because it feels so different.

That's about it really, install in the order listed, make sure you make a bashed patch using Wyre Bash and then use BOSS.

You can use Nexus Mod Manager to install mods, or Wyre Bash, or better yet do it manually if you think you can.

Thanks! One more thing: Oblivion. i haven't played much of it but are there decent graphical mods out there for it? I think it would be nice to get into the lore a little more.

Erm, Use Oblivion Mod Manager (OMM) and Wyre Bash and BOSS again.

Good mods for it are:

Obscuro's Oblivion Overhaul (O.O.O. - A huge compilation of about 500 mods, tons of new quests, new items, new enemies and also makes the game much harder, most caves are full of danger and it's a lot more Morrowind-esque, Knife Point Cavern (?) for example which is right near the Imperal city is full of Amazon women who are ridiculously powerful, the leader carries Daedric/Glass equipment at level one :p) and Qarls HD Texture Pack which makes the game look stunning, better than Skyrim IMHO.

There are a few custom race mods but I personally avoid them because they can lead to all sorts, and there is a mod that drastically improves NPC's faces and head shapes, much better looking NPC's.

Better Faces - http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/22787
Qarls HD Texture pack - http://www.fileplanet.com/189421/18...vion---Qarl's-Texture-Pack-III-Full-v1.3-OMOD (2GB I think)
O.O.O. - http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/15256

Also if you have Morrowind, try this: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8987

It is a GIGANTIC mod but really does turn it into another game, even has a very subtle built in ENB with Depth of Field etc. and adds tons of new stuff. If you use it don't panic when your computer locks up and your keyboard and mouse start working themselves, it's a cool little thing that the author did with the installer. :p
