Ive only just bought Skyrim (not sure why I have never got the game until now but really enjoying it) However there are a Couple of irritating niggles and wanted to know if there are any mods for them that you more experienced folk may know of.

- mod for displaying your character as you are in the inventory screen trying on different armour?
- mod that allows you to display/overlay the map on the main screen as opposed to going into a seperate menu?
- mod that gives you a quickbar for storing stuff like potions?
- mod for quick changing weapons I.e. Going from blade to bow without having to use inventory screen?

Really like the game but find some of the functionality a but stodgy at times. First time in ages I've been rooted to a game, was up until 130am completing a dungeon above the later River town you first end up in.

Cheers in advance!

No mods for the last 2 but an in game option.
When in the inventory screen press 'F' to favourite a item. This then becomes available in the 'quick menu' whilst playing (press 'q' I believe).

To have even quicker access, just make sure the quick item bar is open and highlight an item and press a number key. This will then bound to that key.

For example I had health potions on 1, magicka potions on 2, a bow on 3, sword and shield on 4, 2 handed fireballs on 5, sparks on 6 and so on.

Cheers.

Are there any general mods people would recommend? Nothing that changes the game experience but adds to it.

Well guys, I appear to have reached peak Skyrim. Just installed the Elysium modlist on Wabbajack with Rudy ENB and holy **** with everything maxed out it looks amazing and with my rig it runs around 60fps, dipping to 45fps under really tough loads. The graphical improvement over Living Skyrim 2 is massive.

The Elysium modlist can be seen here https://github.com/TitansBane/Elysium/blob/master/README.md#pre-installation

Finally I am now going to get around to completing a full playthrough of Skyrim and it will look like a modern game. :D

If you really get into Skyrim modding, prepare to lose about 6 months of your life fannying around to get it looking amazing, but not actually playing the game :-)
It's addictive.
