Skyrim or Far cry 3?

Depends on which genre you prefer though personally I would go for Skyrim.

Well, last game that I played is Tomb Raider, like the crossbow and the gun and the relentless pacing of the game, it feels like i am in a movie. What i really want to play is Uncharted....but before that and i need a PS3 for that, i'd thought i get something else first.

It sounds like you're after a more cinematic experience, in which case I'd plump for Far Cry. Skyrim is more of a slow burner where you explore anything and everything at your own pace, 100+ hour save files, hoarding stockpiles of loot and masses of exploration are the name of the game. FC3 is more of an instant action game but does have some elements of exploration so it'd probably be a better experience for you personally.

I'd go for Far Cry 3 personally unless you're looking for a very lengthy melee based Action RPG. FC3 is a decent length and everything feels solid for the most part. Exploring the beautiful island is awesome and the weapons feel great to use but the quests don't vary too much. It also has the Joker of video games in Vaas :D.

FYI, I have Fallout 3...i made it out of the underground bunker thing and died in my first fight and not picked it up since.

That was 4/5 years ago.

LOL, same here. I never bothered with Fallout: New Vegas after that either. I would say go for Far Cry 3. 'Tis beautiful.

Same thing happened to me, except I went back to it after a few months and played it to death.

I've put hours and hours and hours into Skyrim and there's still so much to do.

Both are really good but oh so different. If you enjoyed Tomb Raider recently (me too btw) then I'd definitely go for Far Cry 3. Nice fast pace and loads of things to kill and burn! Oh and you get a very nice recurve bow in it aswell.

Both are amazing. Probably the best games I've played last year.

I would buy both as you wont regret it. Actually buy far cry 3 just now as the GOTY legendary edition of Skyrim is out next month with all the expansions bundled in it!
