Hey all,

Just seen skyrim on a cracking offer in a steam sale. Have I missed out by not playing it so far? Tempted to purchase!

Thanks :)

Yes you have and yes it's worth £3.74 for god knows how many hours of gameplay.

You should be playing Skyrim and not making threads! :D

Is there a Skyrim equivalent of FCOM or MGSO? I know a fully modded skyrim will be fantastic but I don't know if I can go to the lengths I went to get Morrowind and Oblivion modded to the hilt and working this time around.

My life was fuller before skyrim.

I was uber excited for skyrim and got it day one, started playing it, got even more excited for the creation kit, then after about 35 hours just fell out of playing it, no-where near finished the main story etc and have wanted to get back into it to complete atleast the main missions but just no drive :-/ (yet!)

I completed it on the PS3 in a few weeks after it came out. The game started to crash and I put it to one side.

Bought my gaming pc last xmas and Skyrim was the first thing I bought.. went through 3 graphics cards in the space of a couple of months as I started to add mods.

Mods make skyrim. Add them, and play on expert level using only a bow. Great fun.

if you like open ended rpgs and are not too bothered about story line which is kinda lacking then yeah you'll definitely like it. i did put a lot of time into it but prefer rpgs with a bit more direction like the witcher!
All the extra player made dungeons you can download are pretty cool, some of them better than the actual games dungeons! also blood mod was cool, and better looking female character mod as the stock models are kinda meh!

I would be buying it to play in a few months time when i finish uni thats the problem. I tried to play fallout3 and wasted 3 whole days playing before i uninstalled it to save myself failing uni ;)

£3.74 for Skyrim is a steal, not only a relatively new game but also one of the best RPGS EVER! Seriously is you have managed to miss/ avoid this game somehow in the past get it now, get the dlc too! Between console and pc i have about 500 hours on skyrim between pc and console that would make my hourly cost at this price £0.00748 . Once you are bored start looking at mods such as moon-path to Elswer ! Get it NOW!

I wish i hadn't bought Skyrim by now so i could experience it over again (completed aorund 5-6 time :( )
