The thing is, nothing individually is ultra high-end. A VPI Scout turntable at $4000 is somewhere below Linn LP12 territory. The pre-amp and power amps would rank as distinctly mid-range compared to Naim or a dozen other electronics manufacturers. Ditto the speakers. You could easily spend well in excess of £70K on a pair of Focals.
