Was looking for a desktop portable itx build and stumbled accros this looks like a great idea

What you do guys think?

Its not showing much

I'm seeing the black box, but then a separate ITX mobo and a separate graphics card. One second though shows the ITX board with cables running to the GFX siting on its side.

And for many people the looks will be very important

With desktop cpus and desktop gpus in laptop that have a capability of 5 hdds/ssds in a much smaller form factor than this, I don't get it.

After reading this it will make a bit more sense
And it will make sense to some people who need something like this, but not all will see the point I guess.
It's like a in-between laptop and desktop you can upgrade/fix everything and still be portable.

I get where its coming from

A few issues for me:

1. It looks terrible, looks are important to many people
2. It will be heavy
3. Battery life will be an issue no doubt
4. Newer laptops are not far behind desktop (see 1060/1070 etc) although upgrading maybe not as great
5. Cost will be an issue. Keeping the cost low enough to tempt people will be tough

However, I respect them for going forward with it. Maybe after some better specs, design and polish it would get more interest but currently it appears to be a slim home made ITX case with a screen.

Fair play to them though, got to try things and they start somewhere

I think its not a bad idea, they just need to improve the looks / design of the thing.
