I'll kick myself when I figure this out, but for the first time ever using slackware (fresh install) I've confused myself with my LAMP install.

What are the possible causes of my browser wanting to d/l a *.php file instead of it just being executed? I have php, and the httpd.conf throws no errors, so I assume somewhere I've missed/forgotten something to associate .php files?

Ok, perhaps not. This is giving me quite the headache!

Now I can see the phpinfo with the test page, but in a folder below that one, php is still not being executed? :S

EDIT: Played with it some more. php will execute in the root folder (/var/www/htdocs/) but not in the folder below that (/var/www/htdocs/stuff/thing.php)

What could cause this?
