Ok, cheers guys...

One thing i need the E8600 as that is the best processor for my needs
do you think the board and ram are a good choice for the CPU??

Cheers

Yes, i have been using FS9 for over 8 years, my experience tells me that the E8600 was the best (i did have an i7)...

So that is the CPU i will go for, suggestions for a mobo and ram would be great :)

FS9 is single threaded...
I had an i7, the only thing i was going to upgrade was the mobo, ram and cooler (and pastymuncher, if you check their site you'll find an adaptor for the i7)...

Apparently FS9 was designed around the time when E8400's where brought out, due to this they are more compatible with the game, i have tested this for myself and find it to be true...

But i am stuck on a motherboard and RAM....

Cheers

There is a reason for sticking with FS9, this is that all my paid for aircraft and scenery is for FS9.
FSX is multithreaded, but this does not mean more gaming performance it simply means that 1 core if for 3D rendering and 1 for Finalizing...

I was just asking for the best mobo for a E8400, E8500 or E8600....
