Anyone else play this? Just found it last night and it seems fun. Sort of uplink style hacking but with 100's of other people.

Takes a while for you to download any big files

I don't like 20 min+ waiting times! However I've kinda got the hang of it, I've already run viruses on 2 other peoples computers (Not the bot ones that you do at the beginning, actual players) so I've got a small sense of accomplishment!

If the OcUK lot want to share I'm sure we can set something up, it might also be useful if we all share files as there is a rash of players going round deleting everything from accounts so having backups between players would be good.

Inline with their rules there would have to be no slaving off each other but there's nothing saying we can't share files.

btw nikebee, supposedly you'll find they all die at the end. Check the forums, multiple downloads etc doesn't work the Java timer fails. I could be proven wrong though

no i believe your right... they all complete the download/upload but it doesn't actually work

all the files i just completed either a) are not on the servers i uploaded to or b) didn't end up in my software list

Still on 1Mbit... have you seen the price of 2Mb?! It's 895 Euros!! I've only got about 300 to my name

i dont get this part of the guide:

You should now see the server 1.1.1.1 as your slave in the list, assign it to send spam by clicking on the red link. (You now need your Marketing.mailer software because this will be used to assign the slave to spam)

On the left hand side is the menu. Goto the Slave one (red square with skull and crossbones). You should see a list of slaves, and a link on the ones next 1.1.1.1.

Is that what you're after?

i went there and clicked the red link and it just takes me to the logfile...just dunno how to use the marketing thing
