Sleep ALWAYS waking itself at 0100.

Hey guys,

I have a rather annoying problem with my Mac Pro, it loves to wake itself at 1:00AM on random (EXACTLY at 1:00AM, I checked the clock) and wakes me up with the fans etc.

I have checked for things like energy saving auto startups etc but there is nothing selected to cause this to happen.

Any idea folks?

This is just a guess, but its not got wake on LAN activity and its the time clock syncing with the time server?

Try going to energy settings, then click options, then untick wake on network admin access. Worth a try.

Anything in the logs? Check in console.app it might give a clue as to what is causing it.

Sounds like this is the cause!

I will untick it tonight and see how it goes - thank you for your advice!
