Just made a Windows 7 pc for a relative:

GA-F2A88XM-D3H
7700k
Samsung 850 Evo SSD
Kingston DDR3 8GB

Everything works perfect but it won't wake up from sleep. I get a black monitor and case fans come on. That's it. I have to force shutdown with button and switch off power supply. I have the latest Catalyst drivers. Any ideas what's going on?

The only other thing I can think of hardware wise is the PSU. I once had one that worked fine in everything but sleep, and when replaced sleep worked too.

Other than that, is it a fresh install of Windows and are the chipset drivers up to date?

Edit: might be worth playing with the various sleep modes (S3/S4 etc) in the BIOS, but really any of them should work.
