This problem is really getting on my wife's nerves, and mine too...

If we put the computer to sleep, then wake it up and log out so that someone else can log in, we can't click on any of the user icons. It doesn't register the click. It's then impossible to login, and we have to reboot.

Any ideas?

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the mouse...

Im having a similar issues with my Mac Pro 3,1... but my others Macs are unaffected.

That's gonna get pretty tiresome if we have to do it every time!

Thinking about it, I doubt that would work anyway, because it's still possible to move the pointer, it just isn't possible to click.

there was an update last week for the MBPr that cleared these issues, I'm guessing Apple will be working on this for other macs now as well - keep checking for updates
