Sleeping Dogs and 1440p..My game wont start, any ideas?

Hi guys, just messing around after getting a new monitor. Does or did anyone have any issues with Sleeping Dogs at a res of 2560x1440? My game launches, I can see the menus, in my video options it picks up the 1440 res and sets refresh to 144hz, but when I try and continue my game or start a new one, I get a loading screen then 2 seconds later it kicks me out to desktop.

Any ideas?

edit: nevermind, fixed it, think some game files became corrupt, verified them and now all working fine.
