Sleeping dogs definitive edition worth getting?

I'm really bored and want to get stuck into a good open world game and have had sleeping dogs sat in my steam list for years. But i noticed there is a definitive edition that adds some dlc and better gfx. Just wondering if its worth buying that or play the standard edition I already own? Are the gfx improved enough to justify buying it again for? Or is the dlc worth it?

Its only £5 odd on CD keys, but i hate the fact i bought the standard edition for like £20 ages ago and its not even been installed :(:o.
 
If you had played the original I would say don't bother.

This comes will all the DLC though I believe and it's a great game. Just think that you paid £25 for it....win

your get Bruce lee DLC which was quite fun. you go to the dragon tournament
Your get a Zombie like mode which was Meh.
Graphics update is pretty nice.
more Clothes etc.

if you haven't played it then yes. Honestly one of the most under rated have of the past few years. Fun with a reasonable storyline in a setting we rarely see which is done brilliantly.
 
I would grab it. It's a really good game.

I was also in the same boat having the original, and even the some DLC.

However my gaming time is limited and I wanted the best experience so when I did play it, I grabbed the £5 "upgrade".
 
I bought it in the last Steam sale. Personally, I couldn't get on with it. That said, a lot of people hold it in high regard, so chances are you'll like it.
 
Thanks guys, think i'll grab it. I tend to take my time in these types of games and end up playing it to death, so its not often i'll do a second playthrough. So getting the best version possible makes sense. I'll have to hide the standard edition so it doesn't make me cry every time i look through my steam list lol.

i put 90 hours into SD :)
