I'm sure a lot of you remember the free indie game 'Slender' well this is the commercial release from the same guy/team:

I don't know about any of you but 'The Eight Pages' scared the hell out of me, really looking forward to this!

I just did a pre-order, was something like £3 if you order now. You get beta axxs now plus the full game when it comes out. Just a couple of screenies got to much to play to continue anymore. Should be ready for it at full release though.

I played the beta last night! I found it 10x scarier than the original that started the Slenderman trend and with the likes of marble hornets on-board this feels a lot more authentic to what Slenderman is about.

The procedural world is nice with things shuffling around the map each time you restart but the basic premise stays the same (in the beta), find 8 pages! Which I luckily managed to do last night on my second attempt and I mean I was really lucky :p There were 2 pages right next to each other and by the time you hit 6 pages Slenderman spawns everywhere and is constantly hoping in your FOV which makes the whole experience so unnerving but good fun!

Defiantly worth a pop at £3.50 for the beta and retail version when its out. Be sure to play in the dark, with your headphones on and the volume up as half of the fear comes from the sound effects/music. Probably the scariest gaming experience I've had in a very long while and not just cheap jump scares but more making you double/triple check areas as you get ever more paranoid of Slendys presence.

Anyone tried this? going to play some tonight had a little go earlier and gfx/atmosphere seem pretty good.:)

I did the pre-order but did not play the Beta though as thought it would be a waste of time. Got the download link today which I guess is retail now so will be giving this ago tonight as soon as it gets dark with the lights out :)
