Hi All, when i bought my second 570 at the end of november i was advised that my tx 750 psu would be sufficent, its about 2 years old. the gf told me that today my pc bsod twice whilst using it,(only on Fb and stuff), and just now whilst playing bf3 it did the same, is my psu up to scratch for this or do i need a higher one?

i was looking at these

Your PSU is ample for that setup, have you tried removing the over clock on your system to ensure this is not coursing the BSOD.

Try checking your RAM settings in the BIOS.

I don't know which particular Corsair Vengeance you have but make sure the timings are correct for 1600MHz and that the DRAM voltage is ~1.5V.

Some types of Corsair Vengeance will set it higher if using auto settings.

You can also set the Command Rate to 2T for stability if it's currently set to 1T.

750w psu should have more than enough juice to power 570sli but if you cpu got an oc or you got few other device hook up then it will draw more power out of it once you start to reach the limit of the psu 750w it will ripple the power supply. i know people who have decided to go the crossfire/sli route and bought a 750w psu, some have been fine while other haven't so when they came to do it again they buy a larger psu to be safe. with that in mine i suggest a 850w to 900w psu. if you think about tri/quad setup then you will need 1000w+ psu. also try to stick to a name brands & to do quick google search on the psu you want to make sure it good as their many psu on the market that are good as long as you don'y push it to it limit as that when you get a lot of rippling happening.

750w should be fine. Im running a more power hungry cpu and two overclocked gtx 470's, (which use more power than the 570's). In game the power draw at the wall is 630w, 740w for furmark. Seen someone on here with an sb setup at 4.6ghz and the same gpu's as me, power use at 600w.
