Just wondered what peoples experiences are with the GTX580s in SLI?

Any noticeable problems when you moved from single to SLI?

Thinking about grabbing another one soon :)

When I had 2 in SLI a while ago, not even 3DMark11 was supported. Just like CrossfireX, all sorts of problems come out, especially on new games. Anyway, nVidia's drivers for SLI is slightly better than AMD's drivers for CrossfireX at least.

You'll need reasonable PCIE spacing on your motherboard. If the two cards stick firmly together then the upper card would have no room to breath, causing significantly increased temperature and noise compared with single card.

Also make sure your PSU is solid for a pair. Plan at least 300W for each card, otherwise you risk BSOD in rare circumstances.

I know about all spacing and what not. Prepared for all that.
I just meant in the actual performance wise how do they sum up :)

Would be nice to see some people opinions
