hi I had 2 x 4gb evga 670 FTW but one died so RMA,d for a credit now Im wondering if I should get 2x 780s but reading this post im now not sure,
Im running 3 x 1920 x 1200 Dell 24" monitors
Move from 3 670s to 1 780? Are you mad Mr. May?
2 670s blow a 780 out the water, let alone 3!
Neither.
Crossfire 7950.
Butttt...no don't upgrade no point.
Most games scale pants on these cards, but the utimate goal is 780 sli as i dont want to go tri again had 470x3 and 670x3 as they noramlly beat 480/680 sli and about the same price when released. SLI just 2 cards is the sweet spot for me I've found on metro LL I have a smooth experiance with two cards than 3. 90% of the time there fine but when all of a sudden it goes to 40% across three cards for some unknown reason then back up. That really annoys me, when paying this amount for hardware.
That's fair enough mate. I really wanna move to 780 SLI too Tbh
I always thought trifire/trisli was the sweet spot for multigpu set ups?
