SLI 780ti Ref card and non ref

Up till now i've been running a Gigabyte 780ti ref card , its a superb clocker and quite happily tanks along at 1280 core for 24/7 gaming

My question is that i'm thinking about getting another 780ti, and maybe picking up the Asus rog 780ti tomorrow.

Is there any drawback in running a ref and non ref card , how does SLI and overclocking work ?

Am i just better off looking for another ref card ?

These are probably silly questions, but its been a long time since i've run sli and all the info on the net is confusing and contradictory.

Just out of interest, what brand are you going with?

Not sure yet , but as its ref probably whatever is the best price , its only going to get flashed with the skynet bios anyway
