SLi 8800 Series

Hi guys. I was hoping someone could shed a little light on aquestion i have...

Basically i would like to know if you NEED 2x 16x PCIE slots to get 8800series cards to run in SLi or not? I was under the impression that you did, but having recently seen a basic review of the new 650i chipset they tested SLi with 2 8800GTX cards and they seemed to run fine.

Anyone know if this is the case or will 2x8800GTS run ok on a MB with 2x 8X slots?

Apparently 2 x 8 is fine, there is very little if any loss of speed compared with 2 x 16.

had 2 8800gtx in sli on my expert, works fine, its marketing BS.
