SLI advice

I'd reccomend trying to put the money towards a newer single card if possible - quite a few games lately have been pushing over 1GB of VRAM useage if you like turning the settings up.

Cheers guys, on the single card side would you guys have any recommendations that are not going to break the bank I am thinking around the £250-300 mark but if there is something exceptional I might be willing to go higher?

Any more opinions greatly appreciated .

cheers will that card run on my system?

i notice it only has 2 X 6pin power connectors for the graphics card, would one of these NO COMPETITOR LINKING! do the job?

Apologies, but I could still do with an update to the above question, would the hd7970 card run on my machine, as to the link my pc only has 6pin would a 6-8pin converter work ok?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
