Been looking around for the answer for this, wonder if you guys know.

Now I know you can run one card, say a 280 GTX and then another different card for physx, say a 8800 GTS.

But is it possible to run SLI 280 GTX and use a GTS 8800 for dedicated physx?

Far as I can tell on the nvidia website they dont list this as an option...but would seem strange to me not to be able to?

you can, altho it wouldnt give any performance benefits over using the 280s to do 3d and physx as current physx games dont stress it too much.

thats wrong.... ive seen a review where they had 2 x GTX280's and a 9800GT for PhysX and it showed a good difference.

I will have a look for the review....better still google it. :D

If you can find it that would be grand! I have been trying to find a review that tests this option but not found one yet...probably not looking right!
