howdy :)

When I made the jump to C2D, I did it on the cheap, and got a P31-S3L.
It's a nice board, and overclocks like the best of them, but now I want moar!

The P31 chipset can't use 4x1GB ram, so I want something newer, and I've just got myself a 9600GT, so I'd like the option to go SLI..

Can someone spec me a new mobo for ~£80?

Cheers!

what about the P5N-E - is there anything wrong with the 650 boards?

They arent bad, depends on if you want to run a wolfdale or penryn CPU.

If you do then get the Asus P5N-E, as the gigabyte wont work with them

Neither are to good at clocking quads beyond 3Ghz either

I've got an e2180 atm, running at 3.2, so as long as I can get at least the same clock (320x10 - I know the chip can go higher tho), then I'm happy :)
