Hey All,

I am in the process of upgrading from a 290X to 2 x EVGA 980TI's and all is going fine but I am not 100% sure what size/length SLI bridge I need, my motherboard is an Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 as picture below:

From what I have been reading up on I should be installing the 2 card's in the Light Tan coloured slots aka Slot 1 and Slot 3, but I am not to sure what size EVGA SLI bridge I need either:

Any help would be great.

Cheers

Did you receive an sli bridge with your motherboard? If so, measure it and that will let you know which one you need.

i would hazard a guess at the long one you need

40mm for 1 slot gap between the cards
60mm for 2 slot gap between the cards.

though im not 100% sure .. lol

Thanks for the replys but sadly I no longer have the SLI bridge that came with the motherboard was some time ago :(

Same as me I seem to find snippits of information some say the 60MM version and some say the 3 way version (80mm) kind of don't know which to get :(

980ti SLI would be completely wasted with an AMD FX CPU IMO. You'd be best of getting one 980ti and a Skylake or X99 CPU/motherboard
